Through your mobile phone or tablet, it can be connected to your Philips Hue Bridge network so you can operate it remotely, without having to go all the way to the switch or be at home. From the mobile application you can also choose the desired color of light you want your lamp to have. It can also be connected to other Hue Bridge lamps in order to operate them all together. (It is required to connect the lamp to a smart hub that supports Hue Bridge.)
